As a qualified furniture maker, I can repair, restore and conserve your furniture and related objects. I was trained to make furniture using hand-skills that have been passed down through the generations, in the same way as the item was originally made.
I will also be able to offer advice on storage, handling and display, and I am happy to make display stands and cases for your item.
CONSERVATION
I combine historic furniture making techniques with cutting edge scientific practices to make sure your furniture will be around for many generations to come.
As a qualified conservator, you can rest assured I adhere to all the accepted conservation standards and that your treasured possessions are in safe hands.
BESPOKE TREATMENT PLANS
Your furniture will be treated as though it is the most valuable item I have ever worked on, as it is deserves, regardless of the monetary value. I will consult with you and we will discuss the full treatment of the item before any work is carried out. Anything that is not completely reversible will be agreed by you beforehand, as per conservation industry guidelines. Your furniture is in safe hands.
